Seventy Five Plus 50

Here we go again. I tried to do every thing different and hope it will all work now.The only thing that remains the same will be my age for the next ten and a half months. And who knows, I may even make it to 76.
We went to a church pancake supper tonight, Shrove Tuesday, you know. The lady setting next to me said you should write a book. I said "I know", my kids have told me that for years. She said "no", stories about your life, how you grew up, what you played with as a boy, what toys you had, what you had to eat and what your family is /was like.She further went on and said you have had such an interesting life that we would all like to know more about it. It would not have to be a book, but a compilation of stories. I said, "Yeah, but". I have just started to blog and that could be a way to tell my story. She did not agree with me because she wants someting to sit down in her comfortable living room chair, with her cat in her lap, and read Weird Al`s (George in this case) stories.
Maybe someday when I am not as mobile as I am now. But by then my sight and my memory
will have all disappeared into the sunset.
Tomorrow I have been asked to work as a carpenter in our church`s new family life center. They are really hard up for help.
